Research

The space elevator has been discussed from some time though only recent technological developments have made it viable. The research pertaining to the technologies required for construction of the space elevator is scattered through many disciplines, across journals, in people's heads and probably even stuff at the bottom of stacks of papers. Here we will start to bring in some of the most relevant but we hope to eventually bring in both past and new research here.
